Back in the late 90’s North County San Diego had a pretty strong hip hop scene. As time goes by, things change, people move and scenes come and go. Back then I was dj’ing for a group called Mission Infinite and enjoyed the year or so of doing shows in and out of San Diego, but at that time there was another group in Oceanside who really had that 90’s hip hop sound and I enjoyed listening to them and still do to this day. Recently I came across a cassette that was compiled by the local artists at the time called The FAM comp. Seeing how everything is digital these days I’ve converted it to mp3 and posted them as videos on youtube.
